November 14
Went to the gym and did cardio on the mill. Ran 5 minutes, set of abs, 5 more on the mill, another set of abs for 4 sets. Then ran 1 more mile and did sprints. I walked 100m, then sprinted 100m for 8 sets. Felt great.

I’ve been going to the gym on a regular basis and feel good. I am doing a cardio day on my next visit and hope to get 3-4 miles in.
Activated my gym membership today, cause I put a hold on in for the summer. I ran today on the mill and felt fine, then I worked bi’s, tri’s and abs. My eating has been consistent for the most part and I am starting to lose weight again. I feels good!
Just a mile, seems like I don’t have time these days. Outage at work, overtime, family ect.
1.5 mile in 15 minutes, was breathing easier and enjoyed the run.
1.5 mile in 14:05, the temp was about 35 degrees and I changed my running from distance to intensity. I should consider the temp though, my asthma-attack at the mile marker should have given me a clue to slow down, and I did naturally, cause I couldn’t keep that pace up. It sucks to see other people who are asthma-free running in all weather, temperture, seasons and enjoying it. While I have to suffer to some degree on every run. In the spring and summer (and when I run on a regular basis) it seems like I don’t even have asthma and although I wheeze alittle on the first mile of every run . I took comfort in knowing that after that first mile everything would be ok, but today let me know where I stand and how I need to start chopping away at this problem. I won’t stop running. I am a runner for life ( a slow, wheezing, pathetic runner) but a runner non the less. I know God has granted me this gift for a reason, maybe so I don’t stop trying or to remember to stay humble. Either way I was made to suffer and need to deal. I love running.
One mile around 10:30; I plan on running more Friday and Saturday.
Four miles today, got a massive headache around mile 2. Had to stop and walk several time, not for any other reason than the headache. Felt good to be on Wilmington course. I need to research the cause for these headaches, they only happen in cooler weather and the main reason I stopped running last year.
Don’t know what is happening to me, but it seems I can only run a mile at a time these days. I didn’t have time for more anyway since the cable guy was due at my house around 0800. I was tired and winded after that mile anyway. I hope this doesn’t happen everytime I take 2 weeks off, it’s like starting over again. It sucks!
Another quick mile, nothing special. After 10 days off (with no good excuse), I realize that it had a negative affect on my performance and motivation. I will try to do more miles with greater consistency in the future.
