Did ab ripper X and ran outside, it was beautiful
today, 70 degrees! It doesn’t get much better
than that. I reverted back to my original diet of
a well balanced ratio of carbs and protein with
healthy fats. I could write a page on my blunder
about Atkins and Eat right for my blood-type.
Although interesting and compelling I’d just like
to say that most of it is just crap.

Ran outside, 45 degrees, windy and a light sprinkle that eventually turned into a downpour by the time I got home.

Did 3 sets of stairs, Wow what a great workout. I’m convinced that if a person did this workout once a week it would be all they needed to maintain their current weight. I know I burn massive amounts of calories and fat, as I am soaked in sweat, I can barely finish the workout and my heart rate and breathing are at maximum.

I want to start P90X again, did chest and back. I needed something to help motivate me during the cooler months. I want to run outside and on the mill, but I also need some resistance training.

Wow, great indoor workout today. Started rebounding for 10 minutes to warm-up, then stretched for 20 minutes. Next I ran on the mill for 20 minutes, did some sprints and a few that scared even me. I ramped up the speed as fast as it could go just to see if I could keep up and I could. Not only that, but I loved it. I got my HR above 200 BPM and burned 582 calories.

Ran 2 miles and walked 2 miles, it felt good to get out as it has been a while. I needed it. This weekend is the Chicago Marathon, but I will only get to catch the highlights on-line.

Had a death in the family, Melissa’s Grandmother. She was 86, lived a great life, was the icon, pinnecle and creator of a very large extended family. She will be sorely missed. I took a walk to reflect and clear my head. 4 miles

Drank a bottle of water, took a hit of advair and went out for another mile. This one was much better and gave me an idea, I should do doubles everyday since I let my miles drop. I need to build them back up.

Didn’t hydrate, didn’t think I needed advair today, since I ran yesterday. I was wrong. By 1/2 mile I was wheezing hard and be 3/4 miles I was sucking through a coffee stir. It sucked! I’ve done better.
