Dave & Mike Go Running

Dallas is not the best running environment in the world. I tried to get back into the running shorts and, well, the thighs just got into the way. Later, it was the drug pushers getting in the way and the rash of homicides along my path (though not my fault).

With our pledge to run again, I am starting to give White Rock Lake a try. If the bugs can stay out of my face, I should do alright. The Lake plays host to the race once a year and next year, I’ll even try the half.

A journal of sorts will continue from here, with much less detail.
