Ran on the mill the first day, then couldn’t stand it inside any longer and went for a cool mile outside. Felt tons better, the temp was 30 degrees.

Warm up 5 min, ran mile and cool down 5 minutes. My cold is totally gone and I feel normal again. Now I need to build consistency.

During these dates I’ve been sick with acute bronchitis /chest cold. I tried to run on the mill but stopped within a mile, it was just BRUTAL! So I’m feeling better now and will run today.

Michael Here… I’m in Illinois taking care of sick family and it’s 3:50 at night. Unfortunately, I can’t sleep. So, I decided to put on lots of new features in from the BuddyPress package. This will give us the opportunity to extend our little site to new members with much less effort than a typical site would require. Let’s call it an experiment. New features include a “wire” such as that in Facebook and Group Creation. Since I’m super tired, I’m leaving some features disabled because they are not working quite right. The BuddyPress theme is new for this version of WordPress and I’ll have to continue working on it as time goes one.
1. First thing: I need a new Header file! The one I created a long time ago is not the right size and it just looks bad.
2. The Activity Wire needs tweaking, it’s not displaying properly.
3. The “Friends” with other members doesn’t seem to be working and I’ll fix that, though it may have to be with another version.
4. Let’s play with this for a bit and see what happens. If I receive a direct email from Dave, I’ll disable the theme and revert back to the old version.
5. Note: The method of putting up new posts HAS NOT CHANGED. Log in as usual and post a blog. Please remember to add a category to your blog post for future navigation capabilities.
Alright dude! RUN ON!

Haven’t have a lot of time to log runs and workouts, so i’m posting them in blocks. Jan 7 I did shoulders/arms and ab ripper x, few days later I did a workout on the mill and yesterday I went up to the gym at work ran on the mill and did abs. I’m trying to stay active this winter, but finding it hard to stay motivated on the dreadmill. I find it hard to run in one spot and looking at the same 4 walls. It is going to be nice the next couple of days and I want to run outside.

Ran stairs 3 sets of 3, I was baked. I’ve never breathed so hard in my life! Great workout! Also, i’ve been doing P90X when I can to cross-train.

Started P90X again, today was chest, back and abs. Also will try to run 3 days a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday or Saturday. Diet has been better since the holidays are behind us and hope to make steady gains in fitness. Starting weight is 250 and have confidence I will lose 40-50 Lbs by June. I am interested in running a Half-Marathon soon too and am putting together a training plan now.

Ran 1.5 miles on the mill and started eating better. I don’t really have a New Year’s resolution, cause it has been the same all year and every year for 3 years. I think this is the year I will be 200 LBS! (or close)

OK, the holidays are behind us and not it’s time to get back to normalcy. I feel like i’m starting over cause it has been a long time since i’ve had such an intense workout. Walked on the mill for 5 minutes, then ran a mile, next threw on the 20 pounder (weighted vest) and walked at 100% incline for 10 minutes. It may not sound like much, but it worked for me today.

Did legs and back P90X style, ran a little on the dreadmill. Plan on enjoying the holidays, but in a controlled fashion that will not undue all of my hard work.
